During this introductory-level webinar, Scott Toich and Rod Kaya will show how to create compelling slides, photo presentations, or videos for use in your weekend services using an iMac, Macbook Pro, or iPad. They will demonstrate how to use Apple iPhoto and iMovie, which come standard on every Mac. They will demonstrate Keynote, an Apple product that is standard as part of Apple iWork. This is a great session to discover tricks you can immediately use or ask questions about how to use the latest technology for ministry.

If you live in their county, you’ve probably felt their work. They’ve trained and deployed “community chaplains” to pray with people in the lobbies of unemployment offices, food pantries, and other benevolent organizations. When their county faced budget cuts, they partnered with 50 churches to scrape, paint, and landscape ALL the public schools. When other churches in their community had to cancel their Vacation Bible Schools, they organized a joint effort at a local school. In the year since, this church of 2,000 has taken a series of innovative steps to get their congregation more engaged in group life and in scripture. Some of the steps they took are surprisingly simple, but have had a major impact. People’s attitudes and behaviors showed that they were growing deeper in their walk with Christ and the percentage of people exploring Christ in their church also went up.
