In the parables of the lost sheep, lost coin, and wayward son, something of great value wound up missing and someone restlessly anticipated its return. Jesus was saying that irreligious, profane, and corrupt people matter to God and that He loves them too much to not seek after them. Have you stopped seeking after people far from God? Dont give up hope because God hasnt.
