There are huge consequences when a father is not physically and emotionally present with his children. Children become discouraged, resentful, and angry if they dont have a courageous father to love them, keep them accountable, and defend them. In 2 Samuel, we read that Absalom even plots to undermine his father Davids kingdom because David will not recognize him. This Fathers Day, take the initiative to recognize your children and honor them with your presence.
