Who we are has been shaped greatly by how and what people have communicated to us. And unfortunately, it is the negative comments that typically stick with us longer. We need to eliminate careless, inaccurate words and empower others with words of acceptance and affirmation. Many people have never experienced this type of love exchange, so the church needs to become a place where people actively and regularly bless one another. Become an expert in giving out and receiving blessings. Remember to ask God for His blessings, for it is only His blessings that can truly satisfy.
