People often give up their prayer life because they find it unnecessary, they have too much guilt over the sin in their life, or they no longer believe that their prayers are effective. Hard times will eventually come your way, so establish a time and a place to regularly speak with God. Confess your sins to a person whom you trust, turn from the behavior, and let God cleanse you so that you can get right with Him. Persevere in your prayers when it seems like God is not answering you. He loves to hear your voice and wants the best for you.
