Loving Mondays: Optimizing Your Vocational Potential

October 3, 1998 (Weekend Service)

On the job, do your best. Better yet, do your best for the glory of God. Those who do their best at the workplace are standout workers. Mentioned here are four skills of a standout worker. The first skill is that of taking initiative. The standout worker also has the ability to relate with coworkers lovingly. In addition, this type of worker is trustworthy. Finally, what makes an individual stand out from the others is an "internal quality control mechanism." And if anybody needs any motivation to stand out on the job, he or she should look at the job Jesus Christ took on as his mission on earth. On and off the job, He is our ultimate CEO.
