It may come as a surprise to some, but most of the true heroes of faith are not famous. And the ones that are publicly celebrated never set out to be that way. It is that many times, heroes of faith are found in obscure, unexpected places. In this way, heroes tell us is that the field of becoming a hero of faith is open to all of us. We, too can become heroes if we earnestly seek God, take risks He calls us to take and simply, persevere when life becomes hard work. We may not look for heroism in ourselves, but others can find it in us.
