Building a Heroic Faith: Being A Hero Of The Heart
July 11, 1998 (Weekend Service)
Dwight Lyman Moody went from being an ambitious shoe salesman to becoming an evangelist who spent his lifetime helping people on two continents say "yes" to God in the late 1800s. He accomplished this by centering his life on three themes that we too, can adopt for ourselves. We first must make a decision to focus on significance, instead of just success. Secondly, we must get into the people business - develop a great love for them. Thirdly, we must fully align ourselves with God and His purposes. By applying these themes to our lives, we also can become heroes of the heart.
