Deadbeat dads. Absent fathers. Where has Daddy gone? Those are some of the phrases seen and heard these days. The point of this message is, instead, to honor those fathers the speaker knows who base their parenting the best they can on the ways of God. The examples given here all exhibit God's work in these fathers' lives by their examples of wisdom, patience, kindness and love they show their children. It is then, our responsibility to honor our fathers, especially in a culture that offers them so little support.
