Sometimes in order to know how to pray, we must look closely at the basics of prayer. There are good questions to ask, such as "what exactly is prayer?" Another good question is "why pray?" These are valid queries as are "when should I pray?" and "where should I pray?" as well as "how specifically should I pray?" A very good question is "what do I do when I pray and my prayers aren’t getting answered?" Since prayer is intimate communication with God (to answer the first question), God isn’t insulted when those not used to prayer want to know the answers. We will find the answers if we are committed to using prayer. God wouldn’t have it any other way.
