The Case For Christianity: The Case For Life-Change
May 1, 1999 (Weekend Service)
A conversation that took place between the speaker and a normal, everyday business traveler is the basis for this message. Although the traveler appears to live a pretty moral existence, he doesn't seem to feel the need for God in his life. We can learn a lot from this man because for all of us there is a "gap" between God and us, even for the most moral of persons, because God is holy and perfect. Since God is perfect, that gap can never be closed by any of us. As God's son, Jesus Christ closed the gap, dying for our sins on the cross. Life change in acknowledging Jesus as our leader and forgiver, even for the most moral of us, is absolutely necessary if we are to be reconciled to a holy God.
