Explicit bias—pretty easily defined and acknowledged. Implicit bias—not so much, and definitely of the type that needs a bias-cleanse. This message points out the unconscious implicit bias ways in which we often label others as "less-than." Our biases are totally opposite of the ways in which God exudes his positive biases toward us; and on this weekend celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr., we're encouraged and instructed on how to get unstuck from our biases in order to get to God's hope, Jesus' vision, and King's dream.
