Something Supernatural: Part 1: Total Devotion

January 24, 2016 (Weekend Service)

In the first two chapters of the Book of Acts, we see the disciples' reaction to the final words of Jesus prior to his ascension. He assured them that the Holy Spirit would be coming to them; and when that indeed happened, they took on responsibility that could only result from full devotion to the person of Jesus and his teachings. This message reinforces for us the power of the Holy Spirit to change lives, and it challenges us to determine where we fall relative to devotion commitment in our individual lives, because that determination most definitely impacts the corporate Body of Christ, his Church.
