From creation to the present, God has wanted to be as close as possible to his people. With Christmas approaching, this message reminds us that God's pursuit of his people is realized in the birth of the Christmas child-Immanuel, 'God with us.' We're advised that to access God's closeness and presence in our lives on a regular basis, we must be still, we must be cognizant of his presence, and we must respond quickly to his promptings and leadings.
