Herod's temple was built in such a way that non-Jews experienced physical barriers to having direct access to the presence of God in the temple. But the apostle Paul taught the Ephesians that Jesus negated any barriers and access to God was for all. This message challenges Christ-followers to think about whether in today's world we are electing to be barriers to those of whom we disapprove because their past, their choices, their lifestyle does not mesh with ours; or are we choosing to be carriers of the presence of God, inviting people—all people—into full access to God. We're reminded that everyone is just one prayer away from enjoying fellowship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
