Refusing to do what's necessary to get rid of baggage from our past-hurts, habits, hang-ups—impacts our attitudes and behaviors of the present and prevents us from moving forward to healthier attitudes for the future. This message teaches through two very different relationships: David with the baggage-toting King Saul, and David with Saul's son, Jonathan, who worked through the contents of his baggage and got to a healthy place. Relationships across life's board will be impacted by whether individuals open up and work through contents of their baggage or whether they hold tightly to the unhealthy contents.
