Unwavering: Part 4: Recalibrate
March 22, 2015 (Weekend Service)
Even after the rebuilding of the wall and the gates of Jerusalem by the Israelites under the leadership of Nehemiah is complete, Nehemiah knows his leadership responsibilities are not over. He wisely allows people time to resettle into their homes, but then he calls the people together again and challenges them to the most important task: commitment to obey carefully all the commands, regulations, and degrees of the Lord. Christ-following leaders have the responsibility to make that commitment a priority for themselves and to then lead God's most valued treasure-people-in ways that show honor to him.
