Since the start of Willow Creek Community Church in 1975, the church's primary focus has been to turn irreligious people into fully devoted followers of Christ. This idea reflects the heart of God. All people, believers and unbelievers, matter to Him. As Christians, we must share God's heart. This means we must be indiscriminate lovers of men and women, just as God is. We must also be in a permanent search mode for the lost, irreligious person. And when we are able to lead such a person to Christ, we should (as it's done in heaven) rejoice as that person is welcomed into the Kingdom of God.
