In asking a teenaged Mary to carry and birth the Messiah, it seemed God was asking something quite irrational and impossible. But Mary responded with acceptance and trust. How is it then that when God asks us to do something for kingdom purposes, we often find excuses, claiming we're incapable or unable? This message makes it clear God's expectation is that we move from any position of comfort and safety and take whatever risk confronts us to bring his name and his love to our lost and broken world.
