Beyond 100 Miles
December 30, 2012 (Weekend Service)
Committing to run a hundred miles for a charitable cause almost cost Paul his life as the physical stress overwhelmed and caused failure of several of his internal organs. Several weeks in the hospital and many concerns not only about whether his body would fully repair itself but also about how this ordeal impacted his family resulted in a reevaluation of how he would face future challenges and adventures. One thing on which Paul never wavered was his commitment to being a support to the voiceless and the forgotten of the world, both in helping to meet their physical needs and in pointing them to Christ. As Paul shares his testimony, he presents three important questions which force us to consider how we face aspects of life in accord with God's direction.
