After making a decision to follow Jesus, Matthew (Levi) held a great banquet at his home, inviting fellow tax collectors and 'sinners' to sit in the presence of Jesus and the disciples. Likewise, Christ-followers today must take seriously their responsibility to bring the message of salvation through Jesus Christ to those in their spheres of influence: family, friends, fellow students, co-workers, whomever. This message reinforces the need to take that risk of reaching out and offers coaching tips for whatever comfort level you may be at in the process. There can be no excuses. The stakes are high, and you and the Holy Spirit can do it.
