Lessons from Willow

August 26, 2012 (Weekend Service)

As he heads to plant a church in Nashville after serving eight years at Willow Creek, Darren Whitehead reflects on five major lessons he learned in his tenure at Willow: Love matters most; It's okay not to be okay; Reaching people is worth the risk; Diversity in the church is a glimpse of heaven; and God is building his church. Central to each of these lessons is community: believers coming together with mutual encouragement and determination and purpose to make a difference and to be a part of building God's kingdom on earth.
