Five commitments-I will see, I will feel, I will act, I will empower, I will advocate-to which each of us must consider responding if we are serious about joining God in his work to lift up the dignity and value and name of every person in this world. The emphasis of this year's Celebration of Hope is on women, and in this message, as the meanings of those commitments are expanded upon, we hear stories where the power of money and corruption tore women from what could have been sustainable lives and stories where the power of money and compassion brought hope and new beginnings.
