Life Verse: Week 2: Habakkuk 3:2
March 11, 2012 (Weekend Service)
Habakkuk 3:2-Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, O Lord. Renew them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy-is Darren Whitehead's life verse and he shares from his experiences and his insights what those words should mean for any of us. We're often quick to acknowledge the fame and deeds of earthly celebrities, while forgetting all that God wants us to acknowledge of him and ask of him. When we're hungry for more than we're experiencing, this verse can bring us back to the reality that it is God's fame, God's deeds, God's story that we ought to embrace.
