The parable told by Jesus about the four types of soil (representing a person's heart) on which seed (God's Word) is sown is not always interpreted with the indication that even the hardest of soil can be worked into something receptive to the seed and capable of producing a healthy crop. This message offers the encouragement that the prospect of a "tillable" heart should never be discounted. God is an amazing sower and he asks his children to assist in the process with unceasing prayer and with telling people about the love of Jesus, trusting that a crop can be produced that brings the kingdom of God to earth.
