Finding Courage: Live Expectantly
March 12, 2011 (Weekend Service)
Just as the Old Testament prophet Habakkuk prayed that God would allow the people of his day to experience some of the amazing deeds they heard God had provided in prior times, Christ-followers today have to be bold in asking for the fullness of what God has for us-blessings, opportunities, filling that gap between what we read or hear about and what we actually experience. This message reminds that the fame and deeds of God were not just for the past; they are available in our lifetime. Do we not get because we don't ask? Are we going through life with a spirit of indifference? And what are we going to do to bring about God's fame and deeds in this day?
