2011 Family Series: How Families Can Cope in Tough Financial Times

February 12, 2011 (Weekend Service)

Often the tough financial times in an individual's life or in a household are not solely the result of a national economic crisis, but rather are the result of overspending, greed, or poor financial choices in general. And all too often, people fail to take seriously a commitment with their tithe to the work in and through the local church. With the story of Zacchaeus as a backdrop, this message challenges us to the possibility of having not only a spiritual conversion through Jesus, but also a financial conversion. If you trust Christ with other areas of your life such as your relationships, your family, and your vocation, shouldn't you also trust him with the resources he's provided you?
