2011 Family Series: Love and Limits
January 8, 2011 (Weekend Service)
Children are one of the most important gifts God has entrusted to us. Proverbs 22:15 tells us that "foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child" (read: depravity!)-so how should parents and grandparents steward these precious, but with a touch of wicked, little lives? Parents have to manage their own life disciplines in order to have the stamina to build into the very important components of raising children to a healthy state of adulthood. This message gives clarity and reason to the need for parents to extend a balance of love and limits and to help children set the vision for their future, one that involves loving God and following his course and direction for their lives.
