The events of Pentecost were not just for that one day, but are for all who today call themselves Christ-followers. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we've all attained the rank of minister. And in order to serve the church around the world and those in the world who do not yet have a saving faith, we've been given the appropriate spiritual gifts. We can't just sit back and think only those with a formal ministerial or theological degree can take the role of clergy-person. On Pentecost Day God blew the lid off the box people had him in, and he handed us the tools to use as the ministers that Jesus sees us to be.
