Dad Fest 2010
June 19, 2010 (Weekend Service)
Mike Singletary, ex-Chicago Bear linebacker and current head coach of the San Francisco 49ers, shares his thoughts and experiences on being a father. As the youngest of ten children in his birth family, where at 12 years old he experienced desertion by his pastor dad, and now dad to seven children of his own, he knows the importance of drawing fully from the teachings of Scripture for direction in being both a God-honoring father and husband. With humor and scriptural wisdom, he encourages dads in the very important role they've been given.
Included is also a brief post-service segment where Mike speaks to lessons learned both as a player and a coach.
