Treasuring The Sabbath
May 1, 2010 (Weekend Service)
The Fourth Commandment—keeping the Sabbath holy—is probably the one we most readily take not as a command, but as a suggestion; and apart from maybe giving an hour to a church service and worship, many observe the Sabbath as no different than any other day. This message gives historical background to this day that God himself designed and modeled. We're given concrete suggestions on making our Sabbath day one that honors God through our pursuits of delight, worship, reflection, rest, and play.
