Preparing children for the journey of life is an awesome, and sometimes overwhelming, responsibility for parents. This message, the first in a series of six on family, provides insights from 2 Timothy 3:14-17 to guide parents as they seek to build character into their children. Parents need to help their children understand that life is not a series of random arbitrary acts, but that we all, children included, are part of God's epic story of conflict, victory, love, rescue, and reconciliation. Each family members—young and old—needs to step up to the challenge and be a part of making a difference in improving their family.
