Mary found favor with God and he used her, a virgin, to give birth to the Messiah-indicative on a grand scale of what God is able to accomplish when someone responds with obedience and trust to that favor. This message encourages Christ-followers to use the favor of skills and ingenuity and ideas and resources that God has given them to become instruments of his hands and feet and grace. God can do the miraculous in each of us—right where we are—and what a privilege that presents as we then show Jesus to the world by meeting needs in a neighborhood, in a local community, and beyond.
