The Forgotten Way: Part 1, The Great Cause
September 12, 2009 (Weekend Service)
We can all come up with reasons why we're filling our lives with busyness and high-speed, pressured-up activity. Unfortunately, there are unintended consequences for people who run too much or who chase too much. Jesus was very clear about the way we should be going after life, a way that does not keep out God, but that allows him to fill our needs—which he knows so much better than we do. This message stresses the importance of putting effort into those aspects of our lives that show we are truly seeking first the kingdom of God and where the results can be evidenced by individuals and families that flourish, careers that soar, and churches that prevail.
