Man was created in the image of God. And as this message points out, one thing we learn about ourselves from understanding who God is, especially as is evidenced in the model of the Trinity, is that man is intended to spend life in community. Yet far too many people who claim Christianity are emotionally and spiritually isolated and do not become a part of experiencing the life change that occurs when community becomes the dwelling place of the Spirit of God. As Christians, we inherit the history and the heritage of the people of God. We belong to an incredible story, and we have a responsibility and the privilege to carry that story forward.
