Half-Baked
July 11, 2009 (Weekend Service)
It's all too easy to restrict your Christianity to a weekend worship service and not carry what should be your Christ-likeness to the other situations and relationships in your life the rest of the week. As this message points out, we can't just gather religious information; we need to put it into practice. Just as a cake or a loaf of bread is pretty much worthless if only half-baked, so God can't use us the way he wants if we're only half-baked. We have to be intentional in our commitment to complete surrender, using fully all the resources we're given for spiritual growth. Only then will we show ourself as the completed recipe God designed for our life.
