Why We Sing
June 13, 2009 (Weekend Service)
Scripture instructs us, "let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise--the fruit of lips that confess his name." This message elaborates how we offer that praise through the spiritual practice of singing to God, an activity that we read about consistently throughout the Bible. Singing is not just an option, but is essential to a growing relationship with God. Singing gives affection to him. And it doesn't have to be in perfect voice, it only needs to be done. Especially when we come together in community and songs become anthems of God's truth, both heaven and earth are touched.
