This message uses the parable of the sower and the seed to remind everyone on the spiritual growth continuum that they have to determine what kind of soil they're providing for the seed--the Word of God--to fall upon. Although the seed is being constantly sown, providing opportunity again and again for individuals to reach full potential, we must remember that the evil one delights in snatching away the seed. There are all kinds of excuses an individual can use for not taking responsibility for personal spiritual growth, and that individual alone sets the course for the kind of fruit he or she will bear in glorifying the Father.
