Prepare: Part 3, Impact Your World
December 13, 2008 (Weekend Service)
The words of Isaiah 1:17 clearly state God's expectation of Christ-followers in righting injustice in the world on behalf of the people that he deeply loves: "Learn to do good; seek justice, rescue the oppressed, defend the orphan, and plead for the widow." This message tells of some of the horrors of injustice that IJMers see every day. The successes of righting those injustices can only be continued as Christians lead the way by making themselves and their resources available. We are God's instruments for doing what is necessary to help the abused and the oppressed know that there is a good God who truly and deeply loves them.
