Multiple Choice: The High Stakes of Decision Making: Part 2
August 30, 2008 (Weekend Service)
To be a disciple is to be a student who is trying to become like the teacher. For Christ-followers, that teacher is, of course, Jesus. So what is the training in which Christ-followers must engage in order to become more like Jesus in extending love to others, including how we use our words to demonstrate the condition of our heart? This message examines the spiritual disciplines of solitude and silence, fasting, and Bible memorization--practices in which Christians must seek to engage in order to be transformed to live lives worthy of the Lord and to please him in every way.
