Desire: Handling the Double-Edged Swords of Money, Power and Sex: Part 3

July 26, 2008 (Weekend Service)

Description
This series speaks to the factors in today's society that move even Christ-followers away from the intent of God to himself fill the voids we often feel in the areas of money, power, and sex. Allowing God to be the fulfillment of the needs of security, significance, and intimacy within those areas thwarts the efforts of Satan to draw us into the illusions and lies that destroy relationship with God and with others. We not only have the model of Jesus to imitate, but we have the assurance of God of our value to him and his willingness to unleash his amazing grace upon us as we stand in a position of wholeness before him.
