Coming Up To Breathe: Part 4, Amend My Relationships
August 4, 2007 (Weekend Service)
Description
This six-part series, based in part on concepts from the 12- Step approach, encourages those needing to move from the pain and bondage brought about by life’s hurts—addiction, illness, infidelity, failure, whatever—into the freedom that walking in God’s power and grace brings about. It involves the often difficult one-step-at-a-time/one-day-at-a-time process of admitting our need, surrendering to God’s control, doing a thorough self-examination, granting and seeking forgiveness, committing to ongoing daily partnership with God, and using our on-going healing to encourage others in similar circumstances. It’s an experience God desires to oversee as he transforms us from the inside out, restoring us to be all he wants us to be.
