A Time to Cry, A Time To Laugh (Memorial Day Weekend)
May 26, 2007 (Weekend Service)
Fun—is that something Christians are not allowed due to Christian beliefs or is having fun something we have forgotten how to do? This message helps give clarity to the reality that God calls us to have fun. Scripture tells us that there is a time to laugh. It tells us that we are not to worry about tomorrow. If anyone should be ready to have fun, it is the Christian who sees a future full of hope, full of eternal life, a future that rests in the hands of another. We can and should work hard; but when work is done, we need to enjoy life and the relationships that God has brought into our lives—it is good for us emotionally, physically, spiritually, relationally, mentally.
