Just as there is a cycle of seasons in nature, there is cycle of seasons in the human soul. The soul experiences the changes and transitions of fall, the isolation of sadness of winter, the new beginnings of spring, and the joy and celebration of summer. If we pay attention, we can recognize these seasons of the soul and learn how to find opportunities to mature spiritually within them. We must be aware of when it is appropriate to let go and move on. We must trust God in times of transition and celebrate and thank Him when there is new hope.
