The Aftermath Of Christmas
December 26, 1993 (Weekend Service)
"God doesn't understand!" Have you ever heard someone say that? They believe that God is distant and aloof, far removed and indifferent to our struggles. But God sent His son Jesus to become one of us. To suffer as we suffer, to feel betrayal, rejection, mourning, and all other struggles that are common to mankind. That's the aftermath of Christmas - God's sensitivity and empathy with us because of His Son's interaction with us.
