Easter 2008: Rain

Without water, the human body can't sustain itself for more than a few days. But what about the needed life-giving water for our spirits, our souls? Man always seems to be searching for something beyond the ordinariness of life-things like an understanding of the meaning of life, like connection and community, like moral cleansing. God built you to thirst for a vision beyond yourself, and this message reassures that we can satiate those things for which we thirst as we are cleansed and fulfilled, inside and out, through the living water and the resurrection power of Jesus Christ.
