What makes the difference in our perception of God? We can view him as just a bit bigger than we are and with capabilities a bit grander than we have, or we can take a perspective from the realities of creation and the truths of Scripture. There's no excuse for anyone looking at the basics of this amazing universe and thinking it was arranged by pure chance rather than divine plan. And looking through John's eyes at his experience in Revelation 4 can't help but impact how we relate to God. Even the heavenly creatures that surround his heavenly throne 24/7 never stop saying: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty." Can we do anything less?
