In our day, story is still powerful. And drama which is simply a story told in dialogue form can be especially effective in our visual culture.
Small group ministry leaders can also tap into the power of story. The dramas in this DVD collection draw on compelling stories to give valuable insight into the issues faced by those engaged in small group ministry. The dramas become a hook to focus the participants’ thinking and enhance their learning experience. And, through story, abstract becomes concrete.
This training tool utilizes six drama scenes on DVD and a downloadable User Guide with scene descriptions, faciltator notes, and discussion questions. The drama scenes and discussion questions are intended to provide a 20-30 minute portion of your training session. As such, the dramas will supplement and/or illustrate the teaching that a leader is doing and are not intended to become the basis for an entire training session.
