Dear Good $ense Friends,

Thank you for your interest in the Good $ense Counselor training. If you have the 4 piece set of counselor training materials in your possession you have everything you need to train a cadre of budget counselors to support and encourage those needing assistance within your church and community. However, many have found the additional experience of our two day training to be extremely helpful both as a counselor or, particularly, as a potential counselor trainer.

In the training you will be taught the five steps of the counseling process, see those steps enacted in a series of excellent videos and then implement what you have learned in role play experiences. It's a 3 step, hear - see - do adult learning process. Cost of the training is $195 for the first person and $145 for additional persons from the same church or organization and includes materials and light breakfast and lunch on Saturday.

Our next training sessions will be December 4 and 5, 2009 and April 9 and 10, 2010. Training begins at 1:00 PM on Friday and ends at 3:30 on Saturday. You can register for the training here. After you have registered you will receive additional details about the training.
