There is a tremendous need for churches to educate and assist people with managing their resources in God-honoring ways. And that's what the Good $ense Counselor Training Workshop trains volunteers to do—provide free, biblically based, confidential financial counsel to individuals and families.
Workshop participants receive extensive training in key areas, including the five stages of the counseling process, biblical financial principles, interpersonal skills, and the foundations of the Good $ense Ministry. The teacher will train participants to:-
Prepare for and conduct the first client meeting

Develop listening skills that build a strong relationship with the client

Help a client establish a balanced budget and debt reduction plan

Provide wise counsel by applying biblical financial principles

Help a client develop solid financial practices for a lifetime of good stewardship, and more.
